Shelby Wall — Education Town
A large-scale mural at Education Town on Shelby Drive, Johannesburg, turning a prominent wall into a colourful landmark for learning and community.
Overview
Education Town brought an opportunity to use a large public wall on Shelby Drive as a canvas for creativity, identity and community expression.
The challenge
The work had to do more than add colour to a wall. The idea needed to hold its presence at architectural scale and feel connected to the surrounding neighbourhood.
The approach
Omniversa developed the mural’s visual direction for a large public surface, balancing bold graphic impact with movement and the character of the space. The artwork was brought to life by Mars.
The outcome
A prominent mural that gives Education Town a distinctive visual landmark and brings colour and creative energy to Shelby Drive.
