South Africa — Tourism Brand Direction
A creative response to a national tourism brief, exploring how one brand direction could connect South Africa’s identity, destinations, experiences and people.

Overview
Omniversa developed a creative response to a tourism brand brief originating from South African Tourism and SATSA and subsequently rebriefed through MojaNation. The work explored how a national story could connect destinations, experiences and people.
The challenge
A country cannot be reduced to one attraction or visual cliché. The opportunity was to create a coherent direction broad enough to represent South Africa’s range, while distinctive enough to feel like a single, memorable invitation.
The approach
We explored a national tourism brand direction built around the connection between place and people. The concepts brought identity, destinations and experiences together in a considered visual and communication system.
The outcome
A developed creative response translating the brief into a proposed brand direction and visual language. This was a concept exploration, not a claim of an adopted national identity.
